Join me, from the comfort of your own home for yoga and dance classes this week. It’s important, more than ever to keep our body strong, our mind calm and our spirit inspired.

You are not alone trying to figure out these new technologies. All of us are having to learn and grow. It is worth it in order to stay safely connected, so don’t give up! We are using ZOOM as a platform for these classes, below the class schedule and description is a step-by-step to using ZOOM.

These classes are free, however if you can make a donation to our fund Acts of Kindness Through Yoga on Facebook we would be grateful. Our goal to is supply supermarket gift cards to those individuals/family deeply impact by their lack of employment.

Class schedule for this week 3/23/20 to 3/28/20 Meeting ID#430-823-2015 :

3/23 Monday @7pm (60 min)Pranayama, Gentle Yoga &  Metta Meditation

This class will include three important yogic practices: breathing, asana and meditation. It is designed to restore the body and soothe the soul.

3/25 Wednesday @7pm (60 min)Pranayama, Gentle Yoga &  Metta Meditation

This class will include three important yogic practices: breathing, asana and meditation. It is designed to restore the body and soothe the soul.

3/27 Friday @7pm (60 min): Intro to Urban Fusion

This will be an introduction to dance-inspired cardio. It is a great way to get the heart pumping, strengthen, tone and burn calories, while having fun. We will break down the steps before each song so you can learn the moves. If you already know the moves, it will be a great way to keep moving!

3/28 Saturday @9am (60min): Vinyasa Flow

We will flow from pose to pose, using breath, focus and compassion for ourselves. We will move energy around, practice being present, and release stress and anxiety. This is a intermediate class for yogis will prior experience.

How to attend a  ZOOM class:

You will need to download the ZOOM app. We can do this on your Iphone, Ipad or laptop. The bigger the screen the better the experience. It is free to register.

-5 to 10 minutes before the start time, open the ZOOM app

-Click “Join”

-Enter our Meeting ID # 430-823-2015 and click

-Click “Join with Computer Audio”

-Voila! Your in!

In the upper right hand corner there are options to expand the screen so you only see me. You can also click out of seeing the Brady bunch squares (see the side bar with option for full screen).

      We offer two types of online classes: Vinyasa Flow & Restore Yoga. The Vinyasa Flow classes are challenging, previous experience is suggested. The class on Monday morning (9am) is an overall conditioning and strengthening and the one on Friday (9am) has more of a core focus. The other type of class offered is Restore Yoga. It is a class we created which combines pranayama, gentle stretching and guided mediation. It is a gentle class, works well for deconditioned bodies and helps bodies with chronic pain. It’s a great class for all levels.

      The classes are conducted via ZOOM from the comfort of your home. You do not need the ZOOM app. You will receive an email prior to each class. If you are planning to attend that class, click on the link and put in the Meeting ID. You can be seen if you wish or you can simply have a solid screen with your name. It’s up to you. Drop-ins are $15.00 and a five-class pass is $50.00.
