Saturdays @ Studioworks/Powerhouse Gym

8:00am to 8:55am Slow Vinyasa Flow (55 min): Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing asanas (poses) together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, coordinating breath. In this class we work with the Sama vritti breath.  We create a flow that works within the six planes of motion, for a balanced session. We focus on alignment and proper form.  This class is designed to strengthen, create flexibility and develop balance. The flow rhythm is moderate to slow and the asanas (poses) range from beginner to intermediate. Options are given for all levels.    

The class starts with a 10/15 minutes of breathing and warm-up stretches, then leads into a 40/45 minute dynamic vinyasa flow. It ends with a 10 minute cool down which includes savasana  (relaxation).

9:15am to 10:10am Urban Fusion (55min): This is a cardio-based dance class. Urban Fusion combines rockin’ urban-inspired songs from a mix of music genres. It combines songs from popular Latino artist as well as Reggae, Hip Hop, and Pop music. It starts with a 5/10 minute dance-style warm-up, ratchets up a level or two!…with more energetic, sweat-producing songs, and ends with 10 minute cool down. Only the best tunes make it on our playlist!

8:00am to 8:55am Athletic Yoga (55 min):  Athletic Yoga class starts with a 10/15 minute warm-up, then leads into a 40/45 minute focused flow and ends with a 10/15 minute cool down which includes savasana (relaxation).

Each week the focus is unique.  We will target different muscle groups, repetitive-stress patterns and/or explore specific themes. It will combine various yoga styles to achieve our goal.  This class will focus on proper form and alignment. We will hold poses (asanas) longer, allowing our body to work deeper. It will emphasize safe transitions, the use of props and modifications to work at our body’s level.  This class combines beginner and intermediate poses.

 9:15am to 10:10 am Gentle Yoga (55 min):  This is a flow-style, slow-moving, mindful yoga class. It combines various therapeutic yoga styles. We will honor our bodies with moderate action and focus on restoring our connection to Self. All levels welcome.

6:30pm to 7:25p​m Go With The Flow (55 min): What does go with the flow mean? It means to be in the experience without wanting to control or change it.

In this class you will be guided through a harmonious vinyasa-style yoga class. It will combine the essential aspects of a good flow class: breathe+movement+alignment. Our focus is to be present with all three areas. Each class will vary in sequence and the pace will be tailored to the students attending.  We will go with the flow with presence and grace. 

Thursdays @ Mirbeau Inn & Spa

10:30am to 11:25am Stretches for Self Care (55min): This class focuses on simple stretches inspired by traditional athletic stretches as well as  yoga-style ones. It is designed to create flexibility throughout the whole body. You will be guided to connect with your anatomy and work with mindful rehabilitating intention. You will leave this class feeling calm and refreshed.
