Group Classes

Saturdays @ Studioworks/Powerhouse Gym

9:00am to 9:55am Vinyasa Flow (55 min): Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. In this class we work with the Sama vritti breath.  We create a flow that works within the six planes of motion, for a balanced session. We focus on alignment and proper form.  This class is designed to strengthen, create flexibility and develop balance. The flow rhythm is moderate to slow and the asanas (poses) range from beginner to intermediate. Options are given for all levels.
The class starts with a 10/15 minutes of breathing and warm-up stretches, then leads into a 40/45 minute dynamic vinyasa flow. It ends with a 10/15 minute cool down which includes savasana  (relaxation).
