The Spirit of Yoga Series is a three-part series designed to bring more spiritual awareness, not only to the physical part of yoga, but to your life in general. A lot of the concepts we practice on our mat, translates to positive changes in our lives. A small shift in perspective, can make a big difference.
It is recommended you take all three workshops, because the concepts work together, however they can be taken individually. Each 75 minute class will be a combination of lecture and yoga. Bring your yoga mat, comfortable clothes and a blanket.
Each class is taught by Grace Junek, owner of Be Inspired Fitness and Yoga. Their goal is to help make the world a better place, by providing inspirational instruction and education, motivating individuals to be healthy and fit in mind, body and spirit.

The Spirit of Yoga Series Part I: Gratitude & Yoga Date: April 25, 2019 6:30pm to 7:45pm
Most people underestimate the power of gratitude. Gratitude is considered the “mother of all virtues”. Many people have no awareness of it, let alone practice it, except for the polite thank you, which is socially recognized. However, gratitude changes everything. The more gratitude you practice, the more you will have to be grateful for. In this workshop we will discuss the importance of gratitude, how to develop a daily practice and how to bring it to your yoga practice. We conclude the workshop with a vinyasa-style Gratitude Flow.
The Spirit of Yoga Series Part II: Mindfulness & Yoga Date: May 30, 2019 6:30pm to 7:45pm
In this digital age, life can be utterly overwhelming because there are hundreds of things constantly vying for our attention. We need tools, other than medication, to navigate this stressful terrain, so it won’t destroy our inner peace. One tool is the practice of mindfulness.
In this workshop we will discuss the main attributes of mindfulness, how to use it in our lives, in order to create inner peace and a sense of well-being. We will also use mindfulness in a vinyasa-style yoga flow. We will learn how to pay attention to details in order to create a practice where we are more fully present.
The Spirit of Yoga Series Part III: Yoga & Sacred Space Date: June 27, 2019 6:30pm to 7:45pm
Many of us have lost our ability to create sacred spaces in our lives. Spaces we can go to or access, that are revered and feel blessed. Places where you can connect with your “self”, in order to achieve inner peace and balance. Sacred spaces help us develop a more meaningful existence.
In this workshop we will discuss the essence of creating a scared space, different ways you can bring into your life and how to transform your yoga mat into a scared space. Our vinyasa-style yoga flow will combine gratitude and mindfulness in order to create a sacred space.
